"Between Meals": I'm working with Refugee Transitions, Dani Fisher, and our Humanities Advisor, Bryant Terry on a narrative cookbook featuring refugee women resettled to the Bay Area. Thanks, again, to generous funding from the California Council for the Humanities. 

"Calling This Home: An Oral History of Refugee Resettlement to the Bay Area." I am the the Project Director for an oral history collection & interactive timeline of refugee resettlement to the Bay Area through the International Rescue Committee. This project is made possible through generous funding from the California Council for the Humanities' California Story Fund. 

Campamento, El Salvador. Each January, I help run a week-long camp for youth outside of Santa Ana, El Salvador, in conjunction with Magicians Without Borders and Soccer Without Borders.

Bay Area Refugee Soccer Camp. I helped establish the annual Bay Area Refugee Soccer Camp in conjunction with Soccer Without Borders. Story.

2007 World Refugee Day Photography Contest, International Rescue Committee. In 2007, I taught a photography class to refugee youth in Oakland while working at the International Rescue Committee. Each youth submitted a photograph to the World Refugee Day Photography Contest. Check out their Images.
